Dresdner Robin has provided expert testimony and litigation support on a variety of site plan, environmental and civil engineering, and construction related issues. Dresdner Robin's Principals, each with more than 20 years of professional experience, have the training and background to evaluate complex design, environmental and regulatory issues and develop reports and opinions on compliance with standards or adequacy of technical approach. Personnel within the firm have previously provided expert opinion and/or testimony regarding site planning and design in property valuation proceedings, land-use zoning, soil contamination and historical site use and design standards and causative factors relative to releases of contaminants to the environment.
Dresdner Robin also assists in the formulation of appropriate strategies for negotiation with state agencies and local authorities for the permit approvals, planning board approvals, land use applications or with the NJDEP for investigation, remediation, and closure of cases or properties. Where necessary, we will use our existing contacts and relationships to gauge the probability of acceptance of a particular strategy. At meetings with agencies we will make presentations or submit recommendations on behalf of our client(s) that advocate a position to achieve the most favorable possible outcome.
For environmental projects, we strongly recommend that our client and Dresdner Robin meet with the NJDEP Case Manager to negotiate the approach to be specified in investigation workplans and remedial action workplans. Our experience has shown that when using this approach the final plan(s) as submitted, are usually accepted and approved. This eliminates costly delays and resubmittal of documents/plans.
