Dresdner Robin was the Civil Engineering consultant on a team of Architectural and Engineering designers developing a 19-story, 530,000 sf Commercial Office Center on the Hudson Waterfront in Jersey City. The project was developed in the Harsimus Cove area of Jersey City on a waters edge site.

Dresdner Robin has provided environmental and engineering consulting services for numerous projects in the immediate area and developed the remedial action plan under which Harsimus Cove's environmental concerns were managed during its 15-year redevelopment program.

Dresdner Robin's scope under the project included feasibility studies and civil design of roadway, telecommunication and utility improvements. Dresdner Robin provided coordination with utility and regulatory agents. The redundant nature of utility and telecommunication services required for the project has necessitated a complex set of negotiations with utility providers to meet challenges posed by what is the "next generation" of buildings and users.

The Project area included a waterfront park and walkway amenities; Dresdner Robin provided civil design and planning support for the design team.

The site utility program included the layout and design of new water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, electric and telecommunications services. Dresdner Robin provided expert testimony in support of the design to the Planning and Construction Code review boards of Jersey City.

Dresdner Robin managed the utility testing required by the JCMUA and performed regular site inspections to verify that construction was in conformance to the construction drawings and specifications. Dresdner Robin prepared the final site plan and received approval from the Jersey City Planning Board. Dresdner Robin also obtained all local and state regulatory permits and compiled the final as-built documents.

The project was completed in 2003.
