  •       Dresdner Robin was contracted by Lincoln Montclair Urban Renewal to prepare a Streetscape Plan for Pine Street between Bloomfield and Glenridge Avenues. Lincoln
Montclair Urban Renewal is the site developer for, and has hired Dresdner Robin as the primary civil engineer on Montclair Metro; a transit oriented residential project, which includes a public parking garage, NJ Transit Station, and Day Care Center.

Dresdner Robin's scope under the project included the schematic design and construction drawings of a streetscape including curb realignment, pavements, utilities relocation, landscaping, site furniture and site lighting. Dresdner Robin researched existing and proposed utilities, traffic signals and right-of-ways, and coordinated the streetscape design to minimize potential conflicts. The plans were prepared according to Montclair Streetscape Improvement Guidelines and specifications. A comprehensive lighting plan was also prepared to ensure safe traffic and pedestrian movement and high aesthetics for the mixed residential and transit related use of the area.

Dresdner Robin prepared and coordinated the plans with the Montclair Planning and Engineering Departments and the private developer to design crosswalks and sidewalks that fit with the neighborhood character, provide traffic calming and promote safe pedestrian movement, and satisfy their needs.

Dresdner Robin was also responsible for preparing the Site Plan Application and construction drawings which were submitted and approved by the local Planning Board. Construction is anticipated to start in 2007.
