Dresdner Robin was requested to provide a boundary and topographic survey for Trump Plaza Project. The 4.13 million dollar project was constructed on 1.89 acres in downtown Jersey City. Utilities were located based on surface evidence and detailed information was obtained from utility companies and drawings updated to provide record data. Dresdner Robin provided base horizontal and vertical control for construction layout.
Dresdner Robin, utilizing Leica model 1200 GPS receivers, established horizontal and vertical control for the site. This control was then tied into the boundary and topographic traverse which had been used in the preparation of the boundary survey and topographic mapping. This permitted the conversion of the local survey control to be converted to NAD (North American Datum) 83 for the horizontal control and NAVD (North American Vertical Datum) 88 for the vertical datum.
Dresdner Robin reviewed title reports as well as previously filed condominium documents to determine the effect of the recorded instruments on the premises. A boundary and topographic survey was prepared to the stringent requirements of multiple lending institutions, title companies and attorney requirements.
Dresdner Robin was requested to provide horizontal and vertical control for the construction of phase 1 of the Trump Plaza project. Access lines were established in the field along the prolongation of foundation walls and control points set. Vertical bench marks were set around the perimeter of the project site to maintain vertical control during the course of construction.
