Dresdner Robin has extensive experience in professional planning, redevelopment and urban design. Recent major planning projects include the Mid-town Redevelopment Plan in Elizabeth, City of Passaic Redevelopment Manager and the St. George Avenue Redevelopment Opportunities Study in Roselle, New Jersey funded by a "Smart Growth" grant from the State of New Jersey.

      Dresdner Robin offers comprehensive planning services. Mr. Kolling, our Director of Planning Services, is a former Director of Planning for the City of Jersey City. He has also served as the consulting planner to the County of Union Planning Board and as a Planning Board / Board of Adjustment consulting planner in Bayonne, Howell and Long Hill, New Jersey. Mr. Kolling has authored numerous redevelopment plans, as well as Master Plan reviews and zoning regulations.

      We provide our clients with creative, unique, cost effective design solutions through strategic planning, vision, hands on experience and the use of the latest computer technology. Our goal is to always balance the needs of our client with the needs of the natural and manmade environment, creating an identity or "sense of place" for each site. We have extensive experience in projects ranging from waterfront development, municipal planning, urban design and revitalization, streetscapes, site design, open space and recreation planning, brownfield redevelopment, lighting design, athletic court design, planting design, site feasibility and funding assistance.

      Dresdner Robin also assists in the formulation of appropriate strategies for negotiation with state agencies and local authorities for the premit approvals, planning board approvals, land use applications or with the NJDEP for investigation, remediation, and closure of cases or properties. Where necessary, we will use our existing contacts and relationships to gauge the probability of acceptance of a particular strategy. At meetings with agencies we will make presentations of submit recommendations on behalf of our client(s) that advocate a position to achieve the most favorable possible outcome.
