Dresdner Robin provides a comprehensive range of surveying services utilizing the latest surveying equipment such as Leica GPS Model 1200, Topcon Total Stations and Leica HDS 3000 3D laser scanner for field data acquisition. The field data is transferred to the office where it is processed and imported into the latest AutoCAD program to provide the mapping necessary to meet the client's needs.

Dresdner Robin's typical survey project approach includes:
- Review of available records such as deeds, filed maps, tax maps, and utility information.
- The establishment of a field control network.
- Outbound survey including locating utilities and other physical site features.
- Preparation of a survey plan in AutoCAD showing the metes and bounds of the site and the Blocks and Lots, visible evidence of utilities and other site features such as buildings, paved areas, easements, rights-of-way, and wooded areas. Offsets from buildings to property lines are indicated.
- Additional details as determined by the Client such as setbacks and zoning requirements and the other information requested in the RFP.
- Horizontal control based on the New Jersey State Plane Coordinate System established on site utilizing GPS Technology.
- In addition to the total boundary survey of the entire tract, if required, individual surveys are provided for the separate parcels.
- Property corners are marked in the field, if required, with an appropriate and agreed upon corner markers. Corner markers, set and any offsets for existing monumentation, are shown on the survey plan.

The specific elements of topographic/utility surveys include:
- Vertical control based on agreed upon datum which will be related to NGVD 1929, to coordinate with Flood Insurance Rate Maps.
- Fieldwork coordinated with the outbound survey with additional spot elevations, for clarity, as necessary.
- Contour intervals and spot elevations, as required. The survey may be done by ground survey or aerial mapping methods, depending on the site size, conditions, and time of year. This is determined during the initial discussions with the client.
- Utility information obtained by contacting known utility companies for information. Above ground facilities are located with elevations as required.
- Survey plan prepared in accordance with the specific assignment request.

Upon completion of the project, signed and sealed copies of the site survey, individual parcel maps, if required, and the topographic survey, are provided. The survey includes agreed upon number of signed and sealed copies of the boundary description of the overall site and each individual parcel. If an aerial mapping is utilized, 8" x 8" contact prints are provided for the Client's records.
