DRESDNER ROBIN
FRED WORSTELL, PE
Mr. Worstell, President of Dresdner Robin, has over 25 years of
site planning, site development and environmental engineering experience.
His resume demonstrates an unparalleled level of knowledge and experience
to facilitate and efficiently manage a multi-disciplinary team of
architectural, civil-infrastructure, landscape architecture and
environmental professionals required to make the Berry Lane Park
project a success.
MARK VIZZINI, CLA
Mr. Vizzini will serve as the Associate in charge of the project
and the principal point of contact for Dresdner Robin. With over
ten years of experience in site planning, urban design and landscape
architecture, including numerous locations in Jersey City, Mr. Vizzini
is uniquely qualified to lead the Project Team through the design
and construction of Berry Lane Park. For every phase of the project,
he will be responsible for ensuring that the Team meets the deliverables
schedule - on-budget and at the level of quality deserving of the

JOHN SLINSKI, CLA, RLA
Mr. Slinski is a licensed landscape architect in New York and New
Jersey for over 15 years.. Mr. Slinski’s expertise includes
project design, management and coordination, client and consultant
contacts, construction documents and specifications, construction
administration, presentation graphics and 3D computer renderings.
His projects created and/or rehabilitated various open spaces, woodland
walks and trials, reflective nooks, educational experiences, sports
courts, natural and synthetic turf sports fields, children’s
play and waterplay areas, ecological habitats and creative, site-appropriate
planting design. Prior to coming to Dresdner Robin, Mr. Slinski
worked for the New York City Parks Department where he worked on
the planning, design and construction of many parks.
EDWARD KOLLING, PP, CLA
Mr. Kolling, Director of Planning Services for Dresdner Robin, is
an Urban Planner with over 30 years of experience in the field.
He is extremely knowledgeable of the Jersey City community. Mr.
Kolling will primarily be involved in the community outreach/visioning
process. Visioning is a collaborative process that identifies the
opportunities and constraints of the site, along with the needs
and desires of the community, and will guide the creation of an
effective and responsive development plan for the proposed Berry
Lane Park.
JEFFREY REEVES, PE
Mr. Reeves is the Director of Engineering Services at Dresdner Robin.
With over 20 years of broad-based technical and managerial experience
in all site-design related fields, including urban redevelopment
projects, roadway design, Stormwater management, utility due diligence
investigations and utility relocation projects. Mr. Reeves will
be responsible for all engineering design and investigations, regulatory
permitting, and construction administration services on the Berry
Lane Park project.
ROGERS MARVEL ARCHITECTS
JONATHON MARVEL, AIA
Mr. Marvel, a Principal at Rogers Marvel Architects, has over 25 years of experience in architectural design, primarily in urban environments. On the Berry Lane Park project, his primary responsibility will be Peer Review and QA/QC. Peer Review consists of review of all deliverables prior to submission to JCRA. He will also be involved with the overall master planning and visioning for the project, along with supervision of the detailed design of all architectural components.
ROBERT ROGERS, AIA
Mr. Rogers, a Principal at Rogers Marvel Architects, has over 25 years of experience in architectural design, primarily in urban environments. On the Berry Lane Park project, his primary responsibilities will include overall master planning and visioning, along with supervision of the detailed design of all architectural components.
AARON YOUNG
Mr. Young will serve as the Associate in charge of the project and the principal point of contact for Rogers Marvel Architects. He has over ten years experience in architecture and urban design, including the Liberty Harbor and American Can projects in Jersey City. Having lead teams for the Jersey City projects, as well as for the Financial District Streetscapes in New York and the Pentagon Public Spaces Master plan in Washington, DC, Mr. Young brings significant experience in managing the highest quality design through differing and complex public processes. ayoung@rogersmarvel.com
COLLADO ENGINEERING
ALBERT COLLADO, PE
Mr. Collado brings over 25 years of experience in systems design and engineering. Mr. Collado’s primary role on the Berry Lane Park Project will be to provide consulting services for the design, documentation and execution of engineering issues concerning heating, ventilating, air conditioning, plumbing, fire detection, fire alarm, fire suppression, and power distribution systems.
SEVERUD
LOU OCCHICONE, PE
With over 35 years of hands-on experience in the design and rehabilitation of buildings, Mr. Occhicone is familiar with a wide range of building types and brings a commitment of innovation and sound engineering to the Berry Lane Park project. Mr. Occhicone’s primary responsibilities for the project will include advising the client about structural system alternatives, recommending and designing cost-effective solutions that meet the functional, aesthetic, and physical requirements of the project.
JOE STAIGER ENGINEERING
JOE STAIGAR, PE, PP
Mr. Staigar, President of Joseph Staigar Engineering, has over 25 years experience in traffic, civil and environmental engineering fields for both private sector and governmental agencies. Consulting services to be provided by Mr. Staigar on Berry Lane Park consist of preparation of a Traffic Impact Analysis Report reflecting the impact of the new park on various intersections and roadways. The Report will also outline, if appropriate, conceptual mitigation measures, which may include road widening, traffic signal upgrades/installations, etc.
