DRESDNER ROBIN was contracted in connection with the acquisition
and redevelopment of over (10) ten city blocks of former industrial
properties in the City of Hoboken, NJ. The total area of the
project is over 20 acres.
Dresdner Robin’s responsibilities included property
due diligence investigations consisting of the preparation
of Preliminary Assessment Reports, site investigations, remedial
cost estimating and litigation support prior to property acquisition.
Following acquisition of properties, remedial investigations
were completed and remedial action workplans were developed.
Remedial actions included removal of Underground Storage Tanks,
remediation of medical waste, soil contaminant “hot
spot” removal, installation of monitoring wells, product
recovery, groundwater modeling, Classification Exception Areas
and Deed Notices.
Dresdner Robin was also responsible for preparing environmental
specifications that were incorporated into the Projects Contract
Specifications that were utilized by the selected general
contractor. Dresdner Robin conducted remedial compliance construction
monitoring (i.e. construction of engineering controls or cap)
and dust monitoring throughout construction until the cap
was complete and prepared engineering control as built drawings.
To facilitate timely report approvals from the NJDEP, Dresdner
Robin successfully coordinated a single case manager request
for all properties and also utilized the NJDEP Cleanup Star
Program for numerous submissions.
Following completion of remedial activities Dresdner Robin
prepared a remedial action reports to facilitate the acquisition
of a letter of No Further Action (NFA) from the NJDEP. |
