Douglas Neumann
Director of Environmental Services, has over 12 years of experience performing environmental assessments, soil and groundwater investigations and designing and implementing remedial actions at contaminated properties. Specializing in brownfield redevelopment, he has developed cost effective solutions to a variety of complex remedial problems and has served as an effective liaison between clients, local/state/federal regulatory agencies, legal counsel and lending institutions. He has conducted environmental due diligence surveys in connection with property acquisitions and has provided expert opinion in support of environmental litigation cases. Mr. Neumann has also assisted with the preparation and coordination of Brownfield Development Applications with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and the New Jersey Department of the Treasury; he has served on BDA steering committees on behalf of public agencies as well as private real-estate developers. Mr. Neumann is certified by the NJDEP for Subsurface Evaluation and is a certified NJDEP Clean Up Star. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Ohio University and a Master of Science degree in Geo-Environmental Science from Shippensburg, PA.
