Ed Kolling
Director for Planning Services, has over 25 years of experience and specializes in the areas of Redevelopment, Economic Development and Community Planning. He has prepared redevelopment plans in larger cities such as Jersey City, Union City and Elizabeth and smaller communities such as Bayonne, Asbury Park, Roselle and Livingston. The scale of these plans has ranged from high-rise, high density residential, commercial, office and mixed-use developments to smaller scale commercial and residential projects; and have been prepared for municipalities, public housing authorities, and private developers. His experience includes project coordination; preparation of redevelopment plans, grant applications and development applications; testimony and presentations to Planning Boards and Boards of Adjustment throughout the State; design of parks, plazas and streetscapes; site plan review; development of land use regulations; and studies and site plans for both large and small site specific developments. Mr. Kolling also has extensive and varied experience in the fields of Community and Urban Planning. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree Land Management & Planning/Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University and also is a licensed Landscape Architect and Professional Planner in the state of NJ.
