Geoffrey Forrest, LSRP
Director of Environmental Services, has over
30 years of broad-based experience in the fields of engineering
geology, hydrogeology, and civil, geotechnical and environmental
engineering. Throughout his career, he has conducted numerous
geological and environmental investigations for a wide range
of environmental projects including hazardous waste sites,
landfills, contaminated site assessments and brownfield redevelopments.
Most of his work has been conducted under the USEPA, or State
Agency lead. He provides technical review for brownfield redevelopment
projects in NJ, NY and PA. Mr. Forrest has directed various
privately owned and publicly funded projects involving the
remediation of soil and groundwater. He currently serves as
Project Director for property acquisition projects conducted
under on-going Task Order Agreements for Hazardous Waste Services
Statewide, NJDOT-Bureau of Environmental Services. These projects
include site investigations, remedial investigations and remedial
alternative analysis, and preparation of remedial cost estimates
for properties to be acquired by the NJDOT as part of roadway
improvement projects. He also serves as Project Director for
various projects executed under on-going Task Order Agreements
for Remedial Investigations/Remedial Alternative Analysis
Studies at NJDOT Maintenance Facilities. The agreement covers
the investigation of facilities to characterize soil and groundwater
contamination and develop the most appropriate and cost-effective
remedial approaches. He holds a diploma of Geology from RMIT
(Australia) and Bachelors of Applied Sciences (Engineering
and Geology) from RMIT (Australia).
