After teaming with WRT for preparation of the Cramer Hill Waterfront Park Plan, the team continued working on a Schematic Design for the park proposed at the Harrison Avenue Landfill. The Waterfront Park Plan was created to transform the existing conditions, which include an abandoned municipal landfill and other contaminated sites, into an economic, environmental and recreational asset for community residents as well as a unique, regional waterfront destination. The Plan is designed to attract families and businesses and provide a sustainable riverfront ecosystem.
On the Harrison Avenue Landfill Park Schematic, Dresdner Robin was responsible for evaluating remedial action strategies to determine impact on proposed park uses and costs, reviewing alternative water’s edge treatments as they relate to site conditions, costs and regulatory constraints, preparing a preliminary cost estimate for engineering-related site improvements, and reviewing geotechnical and schematic landscape plans by others. In addition, Dresdner Robin performed a regulatory assessment and prepared a matrix reflecting required permits.
Services Provided:
- Geotechnical Review
