Dresdner Robin has received approval and will start working on plans for developing a mixed-use multifamily building located close to the West Side Avenue Light Rail Station in Jersey City.
The current site, which consists of a gravel parking area used for miscellaneous vehicles and equipment, will be turned into a 60-unit residential building with commercial space on the ground floor and 30 parking spaces.
The 340-348 West Side Avenue project harnesses the sites proximity to the light rail that serves trains heading to downtown Jersey City with connections to greater NYC locations. The project also aims to members of the academic community affiliated with New Jersey City University, which is also within walking distance.
