2D and 3D Modeling
Dresdner Robin’s Geospatial group has prepared a variety of models to meet many different project needs. 2D and 3D models can supplement basic mapping with visualizations that aid in detailing complex issues and influences decision making in public and private settings.
Models include 2D representations of data such as contaminant depths, aiding especially in mobilizations requiring excavations of contaminants to specific depths. 3D models show
contamination or other depth-based data from all angles and can include sample depths and other corroborating information. Cross sections are also utilized to understand, in a 2D representation, the lithology of a project site, complete with monitor well locations, depths, groundwater levels and contaminant plumes. This work utilizes a combination of ArcGIS Pro and RockWorks modeling technology.
