Philadelphia Green Streets

Water, Sanitary, and Storm Water Capital Improvements

The Philadelphia Water Department’s Green Streets Project focuses on the reduction of Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) through strategic application of green design and sustainable technologies. With a focus on storm water management through engineering and landscape design, Dresdner Robin transformed streets in Philadelphia into something modern and sustainable. Strategically placed throughout the city, innovative landscape designs and permeable street pavements retain rainwater.

This ongoing project requires coordination with local utility companies, Philadelphia Streets Department, local community groups, and city agencies.
