The Harper
FROM ABANDONED WAREHOUSE TO LUXURY APARTMENTS
A former carpet warehouse complex in Secaucus, NJ will be the future home of 469 luxury apartments known as The Harper. The three-building site consists of 13.6 acres located at 100 Park Plaza and will feature on-site multi-level parking as well as outdoor amenities, including grill stations, a pool, a playground, and passive recreation areas. This transformation was designed sustainably so as not to impact the surrounding environmentally sensitive land.
We provided professional civil engineering, landscape architecture, and surveying services. These include site planning and design, courtyard and patio design, storm water management design, off-site sewer pump station, and force main design. In addition to local approvals from the Town of Secaucus, we have procured numerous outside agency approvals, including NJDEP Waterfront Development, NJDEP Flood Hazard Area, Army Corps of Engineers, General Wasteland Permit, and Hudson Essex Soil Conservation Certification. As the engineer of record, we’ve also secured approvals from the Meadowlands Commission and NJDEP on various water-related regulations.
