New Jersey Utilities

MAPPING THE POWER GRID

Dresdner Robin has a working contract with a major utility company to provide them with existing underground utility maps as well as underground maps for proposed infrastructure development and locations. We work primarily in Hudson, Somerset, Essex, and Mercer Counties, but we’re always willing to go the extra mile and do more.

The final creation of these maps doesn’t just take a few working days. It takes extensive planning, long field site visits, outreach to other utilities and service provider companies – and lots of coffee. Although the continuous process of gathering historical maps, analyzing notes and plans from site visits, and compiling it all together in numerous drawings may take a while, we always ensure our plans and products are correct and done in the most efficient way, using the most technologically advanced materials.

The plans and products that we provide to our client are usually underground maps of where the proposed electric transmission lines can go – connecting from power station to power station to meet the demands of the ever-growing cities and towns here in New Jersey. We’re currently working on providing the most efficient power line plans for Jersey City in response for the high demand for more residential buildings, businesses, and much more.
